As a dedicated 'Legend of Zelda' fan, I, as many other fans, felt disappointed after reading through 'Hyrule Historya'. A book written by the creators themselves. And even though it's official, it seems to reflect Myamoto's earlier statements that he was not interested in puzzling the pieces of this history spanning over 25 years together.
The timeline they gave was faulty and lackluster at best, and they seemed more interested in putting together an clever sounding story, rather than making the series a coherent whole. Not that that's a bad thing, and at first sight it looks promising enough. But there is just so many details they overlooke
